Saturday night, JUNE 4th, is this year’s one-night event that has been featured in Country Living magazine and (twice!) in The Boston Globe: the SQUAM ART FAIR.
There are over 36 vendors from across the US, Canada and the UK. And, did we mention there will be free beer and RAFFLE PRIZES?
Grand prize is a brand-new SINGER sewing machine and exquisite handmade quilt.
The fair provides a wide array of artwork and handmade goods (paintings, prints, photographs, jewelry, housewares, clothing, vintage linens and letterpress). For the knitters and crocheters, there will also be outstanding wools, yarns and knitted goods on sale including some that traveled all the way from Scotland.
Free and open to the public, the Squam Art Fair is the ending celebration of SQUAM ART WORKSHOPS (SAW), a four-day arts retreat that attracts attendees from all around the world.
If you can join us (hooray!) the fair runs from 7:30pm – 10:00 pm.
